The dry blend has a warm, earthy appearance with reddish-brown rooibos accented by golden petals and pale pieces of lemongrass scattered throughout. Once steeped, the tea produces a glowing amber-red liquor with soft herbal sweetness, hints of lemon, and delicate floral notes. The flavor is smooth and naturally sweet from the rooibos, while the lemongrass adds a clean citrus lift and the florals round out the blend, leaving a mellow and soothing finish. This is a thoroughly enjoyable tea to sip when you want something comforting yet refreshing. I was provided this tea by the purveyor in exchange for a fair and honest review. I was able to try this blend hot and also cold brewed. Brewed hot, this is a lovely rooibos blend. I loved this combo of earthy rooibos with the lemongrass. It was bright and zesty and a delightful afternoon cup. To my tastebuds, I get a good mix of the lemongrass with the rooibos. I also appreciate that this is herbal, and I can drink it anytime of day. If you’re a rooibos fan, I think you will enjoy this one.

I was also able to cold-brew this blend. I also loved this as a cold brew. I get more zesty lemongrass this way, and the rooibos just provides a lovely smooth base. I felt like it gave a bit of a creamy vanilla note brewed cold. I think this would also be a great latte base—hot or iced.

Brewed hot, this tisane steeps into a deep amber cup with a naturally sweet aroma. The rooibos brings cozy honeyed notes while the lemongrass adds a fresh citrus lift, creating a smooth and mellow sip with gentle herbal brightness.
While I’m not usually a big rooibos drinker, I decided to try this one iced—and that’s where it really shines for me. Chilled, the citrus pops and the cup becomes incredibly refreshing, giving me bright lemon iced tea vibes with a smooth, naturally sweet finish.

I was excited to try this one! I could smell the lemongrass as soon as I opened the bag. It was incredibly refreshing and had a slightly sweet citrus note. Very bright and zesty. The rooibos was present but not overwhelmingly so and I really liked it with the lemongrass. I enjoyed it hot but wanted to try it iced. This blend was made for an iced rooibos! It was so delicious and even more refreshing.

Rooibos was never my blend of choice but I am experimenting with more rooibos blends mostly due to them being caffeine free. Not drinking alcohol myself I love how this blend supports sobriety and I can see why this blend works so well for that cause. The combination of lemongrass which is the prominent flavor and the candela petals really give this blend a soothing quality. I don’t know what the natural flavors are but to me it had almost a honey sweetness to the finish. I found this blend also held up to the addition of whole milk.
