Our matcha is crafted in Nishio City, Japan, a region with over 800 years of history as the traditional source of matcha green tea powder. Recognized as one of the most sophisticated teas available, matcha’s distinct production process and cultural significance in Japan set it apart.
Upon opening, you’ll find a finely ground, vibrant emerald powder, unlike any other tea. Instead of steeping and straining, the powder is whisked into a frothy beverage and fully consumed, delivering a rich concentration of vitamins and antioxidants. Matcha offers nearly ten times the polyphenols of standard teas, twice the antioxidants of red wine, and significantly more beta-carotene than spinach or carrots. Hot Preparation:
Step 1: Place ½ tsp in a bowl and add 3 oz of 180° water
Step 2: Whisk with bamboo whisk or hand mixer until smooth and frothy
Step 3: Add additional water to taste as desired
