Jasmine Dragon Pearls

 

Jasmine Dragon Pearls offer a unique balance of sweet floral flavor and bright intensity. Carefully hand-crafted from high-quality green tea leaves grown in Puer city, Yunnan province.  The tea is skillfully rolled into pearl shape and scented using the 'hong ti' technique, which involves a second scenting with higher jasmine blossom quantity and a roasting to enhance flavor, extend its longevity, and capture the tea's distinct aroma. Jasmine tea is only produced once a year, making it a truly special and rare indulgence.

 

 Ingredients:  green tea, jasmine blossoms

Steeping Instructions:

3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 175°F | Steep 3 min. 

Traditional Steeping

Use 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan, use 175°F water and steep as follows:

• Rinse - 10 seconds (discard this steep)
• 1^st Steep – 20 seconds
• 2^nd Steep – 20 seconds
• 3^rd Steep – 20 seconds
• 4^th Steep – 30 seconds
• 5^th Steep – 45 seconds
• 6^th Steep – 60 seconds
• 7th Steep - 90 seconds
