Kumari Gold is an organic black tea from Nepal’s Kanchanjangha Tea Estate, often called golden tips. Kumari Gold is made through a precise and delicate process that distinguishes it from regular black teas. During the second flush (summer), one or two tender leaves along with the bud are carefully hand-picked. The leaves are then gently withered for several hours to preserve their delicate form before being rolled slowly over 20–25 minutes, allowing essential oils to be released without damaging the leaves. Next, the tea undergoes oxidation for 8–10 hours with frequent turning to develop its rich golden hue and enhance its flavors and aromas. Once perfectly oxidized, the leaves are dried to preserve their complex profile. The final brew is full-bodied with captivating notes of caramel and brown sugar, complemented by bright baked fruit and honey flavors, finishing with a smooth, earthy taste that lingers. A true winner!

Brewing Instructions:
Measure 1 tsp per cup (8-10oz)
Add boiling water
Steep tea 4-5 minutes
Remove tea leaves and enjoy
